Clachnacuddin 1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3
NATHAN Austin scored twice as Inverness Caledonian Thistle came from behind to secure victory at Grant Street Park.
But it was Clachnacuddin who took the lead after just nine minutes when they were awarded a free kick when trialist Tim Chow fouled Kyle Macleod at the edge of the box.
James Beeston fired a powerful low shot around the defensive wall out of the reach of Mark Ridgers into the bottom right corner.
But Austin levelled a minute before the half hour mark when he ran on to a pass from Aaron Doran and ran around goalkeeper Douglas Maclennan in the box to fire into an empty net.
Inverness then scored twice in the space of three minutes early in the second half.
Daniel Mackay gave ICT the lead in the 50th minute when he connected with Cameron Harper's cross from the left wing to fire a powerful shot into the top right corner from the edge of the box.
Two minutes later, Austin grabbed his second when he latched on to a long punt from ICT's own third to fire a low drive from the edge of the box in the bottom right corner.
