Buses are running again through a new Inverness public transport link route after ‘technical difficulties’ this morning.

The Raigmore Bus Gate link, traversing the city from the east side of Inverness to the city centre, had to close after 6 am this morning.

Stagecoach’s service 2 and 3 buses were diverted through Culcabock after an unspecified problem with the route, which is controlled by gates allowing only buses and emergency vehicles to use the route.

Stagecoach now says the problem has been resolved.
