A trip to see Romeo and Juliet will be the prize for one lucky couple.

INVERNESS romantics can share their love story on camera when a special "love seat" is installed in the city this week.

And one lucky couple will be treated to a VIP prize package, including overnight stay in a top hotel to see new Scottish Ballet show Romeo and Juliet.

To celebrate the launch of the ballet – one of the greatest love stories of all time – Scottish Ballet is visiting four Scottish cities this week in the run-up to Valentine's Day.

The love seat will be waiting for you at Eastgate Shopping Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm.

Shoppers will be invited to take a seat and leave a romantic story or message on video.

It can be your love story, a romantic message for your Romeo or Juliet – or just a message to a loved one.

Scottish Ballet will upload the videos to their website where you can vote for your favourite.

Four winners from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness will win a romantic prize package including VIP tickets to see Romeo and Juliet in their preferred city.
