A9 closed near Kincraig after two-vehicle collision

A collision on the A9 south of Aviemore has prompted the partial closure of the road earlier today (March 27).

Traffic Scotland reported that the A9 is currently restricted northbound at Kincraig, due to a road traffic collision after 8am this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A9 between Kingussie and Kincraig around 8.05am on Wednesday, 27 March.

“Emergency services attended and one lane was blocked.”

Road users are advised to use caution on approach.
