About the Paper

The Highland News (incorporating the North Star and Lochaber News) is the biggest-selling weekly in the Highlands. We also publish two free titles - the Inverness + Nairn Herald and the Ross-shire Herald.

We cover an area with 60,868 households and an adult (15+) population of 118,432. Our paid-for newspapers are read by 48,112 adults and our free newspapers are read by 41,966 adults.
47% of our paid-for readers and 48% of our free readers are aged 44 or under.
