ROSS County secured their third January signing when they landed German striker Steffan Wohlfarth this week.
The former Bayern Munich reserve player (29) most recently played for Wehen Wiesbaden in the German’s third tier and he'll bolster options at the Clydesdale Bank SPL club.
He follows ex-Hibs forward Ivan Sproule and Greek defender Evangelos Oikonomou in putting pen to paper at Victoria Park and with both of those players having featured in the 4-1 win over St Mirren at the weekend, manager Derek Adams is pleased with the business done so far.
He explained: "Whilst we knew we had to add to the squad, it was important that it wasn't just numbers - anyone we bring in has to add something to what is a great group of players already at the club.
"We've had to cast the net far and wide to achieve that whilst working within our budget but with Ivan, Evan and now Steffen I think we've proved that it is certainly possible."
The club should also gain international clearance later this week for Canadian defender Andre Hainult.
One player released this week by County is defender/midfielder Mark Corcoran, who joined the lub in 2010 from Partick Thistle.
His opportunities have been limited this season and it's thought he is being tracked by Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers and Arbroath.
