ROSS County battled back against 10-man Hamilton to secure a 1-1 draw at New Douglas Park in the Ladbrokes Premiership this afternoon (Saturday).
The Staggies, who beat Dundee 2-1 in midweek to haul themselves six point clear of 12th-placed Inverness CT, got off to a nightmare start when Massimo Donati opened the scoring after just three minutes.
County pressed for an equaliser but were boosted when Accies' Giannis Skondras was sent off just before half-time for a challenge on Ryan Dow.
Jim McIntyre's visitors had numerous chances in the second half and Craig Curran found the net on the hour mark.
With ICT losing 3-0 at home to St Johnstone and Motherwell being edged out 1-0 by Partick Thistle, Rounty County are seven points ahead of bottom spot but just three points above the relegation play-off position which is now occupied by Motherwell.
County's final game before the league splits for its last five games is next Sunday at home to champions Celtic.
