TERRY Butcher hailed Ryan Esson as one of Scotland's best goalkeepers on the day when Caley Thistle's number one signed a new two-year deal.

DELIGHTED Clach boss Iain Polworth tipped his stars to carry their lightning form into next season, after securing a 10-placed Highland League finish. Clach crushed Fraserburgh 7-3 on Saturday to end up 16 points better off than last season, and Polworth hailed his team's heroics in the last two months, in a run which has seen the Lilywhites lose just twice in 14 league matches.
