North Focus - Morning sky over Inverness Castle

By Linda Mattew

Morning sky over Inverness Castle.
Morning sky over Inverness Castle.
The multi-coloured morning sky over Inverness Castle was captured by Linda Mattew last week.

She said: “I work at the revenue office in Young Street in Inverness and I am always fascinated by the sky when I see something beautiful up there as I did this morning.

“When I got to work at 7am I was greeted by the start of a pinky sky which developed into an amazing contrast of colours and shapes within minutes. It was fascinating to see how quickly it was changing. It went from pink/grey to gold/grey and then just gray all within about an hour and a quarter.”
