Woman assaulted in Inverness in early hours of morning

Police have appealed for witnesses after a woman was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning at Cradlehall

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in the Cradlehall area of Inverness in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The assault on the 28-year-old woman took place in a secluded area of Caulfield Road North, near to the stone railway bridge between 2.15am and 3.30am in the morning of Saturday July 21 2012.

The assailant is described as male, late teens - early twenties, wearing a black or dark coloured hooded top and stone washed blue jeans.
