POLICE were called to a residential property in Inverness after reports of the sudden death of a man in his 30's earlier this morning.

They attended the property at Riverside Gardens in the city at 11.20am and found a male dead inside the property.

Northern Constabulary say there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances, however the death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.

Police say enquiries into the matter are on-going.
