Police appeal after second car blaze in Inverness

Police are appealing for information after an elderly woman was allegedly assaulted on a bus
Police are appealing for information after three cars were damaged by fire in the early hours of this morning by a blaze.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses today after a second suspected fire raising incident occurred within a week in Inverness.

Investigations are ongoing after three vehicles were damaged in the incidents.

The latest incident happened in Leyton Drive in the Hilton area of town in the early hours of this morning.

Police say one car was extensively damaged by the fire and a van and another car parked next to it also suffered some damage.

At this time, enquiries are still ongoing into the cause of this fire.

Meanwhile a car and two wheelie bins were destroyed by fire in the driveway of a home in Bridgeview Drive, South Kessock in the early hours of Friday morning. Police are treating the incident as suspicious.
