HIGHLAND pipers and drummers delighted crowds last weekend to raise money for charity.
Army, sea and air cadets had been rehearsing tirelessly at Cameron Barracks in anticipation of a beating of the retreat display in Dingwall and a following concert in Inverness.
As a thank you to the Highlands for all of its support, the Army Cadet Force decided to use the two events as a chance to raise funds for Highland Disability Sport who are sending a team to the Special Olympics later this year.
The talented pipers and drummers put on a spectacular display at the Ironworks music venue in Inverness on Saturday night, delighting the crowds who had gathered to see them take to the stage.
Along with listening to the pipes and drums, the audience were also treated to a display of Highland dancing.
There was no age limit at the venue meaning that everyone could come along to enjoy the performance.
A free retreat was held in Dingwall High Street on the Friday before the concert.
