HAVING just been declared the winner of one of ITV’s biggest reality TV talent shows, Tokio Myers’ first order of business was to jet off on a Highland break.
The recently-crowned musician was spotted in Inverness last Friday after visiting friends in the area.
The London-based artist won Britain’s Got Talent after impressing the judges and the public.
He was spotted at Inverness Airport by fans of the show who took pictures with the star and his management confirmed he was up north to visit friends.
His management team added he may be making another appearance in the Highlands later in the year.
News of his arrival spread after being posted on Inverness When You Were a Kid – a popular Facebook page.
Several online commentators expressed disappointment that they had missed the celebrity.
One posted: “Are you kidding me?! Would be amazing to meet Tokio Myers.”
Another said: “My mother-in-law met him at the airport today. She said he was really nice.”
