Twisting My Melon: The Autobiography by Shaun Ryder Shaun Ryder The Autobiography (Transworld, £18.99)

THIS DVD would make a perfect stocking filler for any Take That fan. It features the sell-out PROGRESS LIVE tour, which became the biggest tour in the UK, beating Michael Jackson's This Is It.
I was delighted to have a peak at this DVD, as I wasn't able to get tickets to see any of the live shows.

NO wonder when GLENN TILBROOK's trailer parked up outside the Ironworks, it was as if an old-fashioned magic medicine show had pulled up in town.
Sunday's show was full of wonders.
Magical stuff came from the start with support Steve Poltz and the first iPhone Siri song I've heard - sung in her rather emotionless robot voice, to taking away a live two-CD recording of the show just 10 minutes after the end.
Onstage in his top hat with his wonder emporium, from iPad touchscreen sound effects to funkbox backing, Glenn was a ringmaster of fun.
